External aerodynamic analysis of automotive geometry commonly involves highly complex and ill-defined geometry. This motorcycle example, 160M cells in about 10 minutes, is a case in point; all separate parts of the body are unjoined in the STL which is often poor quality. This example shows the body-conformal surface mesh, with automatic curvature and feature detection, and also with patch-based mesh refinement to handle thin surfaces such as mudguards.
