The Cambridge NEWT Collaboration

In addition to our in-house research interests, Cambridge Flow Solutions operate collaborative agreements with expert users of CFD. In exchange for source-code level access to our technology we gain exposure into the most challenging applications of CFD, helping stimulate our core technologies. We continue to seek new partnerships with industrial and government research organisations, independent consultancies and university research.

Membership of the collaboration is appropriate when a suitable modelling capability cannot be achieved without source code access to the core CFD. These users are restricted to licensing general-purpose commodity CFD from third parties and therefore must compete against other organisations with the same level of technology. Our business is founded on the cutting edge of CFD; we partner those who need to occupy the same the same ground in order to solve their own problems.
