Geometry Editor

Design changes are made through the use of virtual tools, drilling, deposition or slicing tools; or by the use of Free Form Deformation (FFD) boxes to morph the geometry. Changing the geometry is as simple as editing the distance field, so the change is virtually instantaneous, as is the mesh regeneration and refinement. Driving the change could be a user at the workstation, or an operator in a VR booth with haptic devices, or an automated optimisation routine.
