Cambridge Flow Solutions are pleased to announce the public release of BOXERmesh v3.8.3. - May 2018

This release sees significant upgrades to the user interactivity experience, the ability to and modify geometric features inside the meshing environment and wide-ranging improvements to meshing outcomes, especially in terms of cell-quality and viscous layer creation. Building on the rapid, robust and simple-to-use BOXERmesh paradigm, v3.8.3 is the scalable parallel meshing solution for complex, large-scale numerical simulation. BOXERmesh v3.8.3 is designed to work with a huge range of proprietary CAD systems and formats, and can support virtually all major commercial and open-source numerical solvers.



CFS is pleased to announce that we have completed a major investment by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. ( with their acquisition of a minority shareholding.  This exciting development will give us the stability to strategically develop our innovative product portfolio based on our BOXER software system.


ATI/Innovate UK Funding - August 2015

CFS is pleased to announce that the AuGMENT project, a collaboration between CFS and ITI (International TechneGroup, formerly Transcendata Europe Ltd), has been awarded an R&D grant by The Aerospace Institute (ATI) working through Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency. CFS is the lead partner on the £1.2M project, which involves developing advanced geometry and automated meshing functionality, and then interfacing and combining the partner’s distinct approaches to reap the benefits of both.

The three-year project will empower industrial users with a combined toolset, allowing them to deploy engineering simulation more comprehensively and effectively in the earliest stages of industrial design, across a very wide range of aerospace applications. The work is closely aligned with the ATI strategy.
